This week’s wallpaper challenge is quite funny. The topic was given by Chris, and definitely a tease to Wayne. Our topic was:
Wayne’s Inspiration
Certainly, there can be no inspiration of Wayne other than the lovely Jang. In this wallpaper, I decided to create a “chibi” version of her wearing the “Ms. Nepal” costume. Here’s the real Jang in the Nepalese costume, pretty ain’t she? And thus she looks like a genie specially in the chibi version. Hope you like this Jang!
Also due to the limited time we have to create this wallpaper, I used a ready-made vector eye. You may download the vector eyes pack here.

Opposites Attract
Opposites Attract is the topic assigned to us today by Jul, for our weekly wallpaper challenge. This is a typical idea/concept (I know Solo), but I seem to like the overall effect of the wallpaper. I used my favorite style – vectors to have a simple but elegant effect. I didn’t have much time to think about what to write on the wallpaper so I ended up with the topic’s title instead.
I used a reference for the pose, since the perspectives would be a mess if I didn’t use a one. The original drawing from the talented artist – Gullenos.
Finally, we had another Wallpaper Challenge last night after two weeks of a grueling company related activity. One of our officemates named Peachy is having her birthday today, so our topic last night for the wallpaper challenge was:
A Tribute to Peachy

Creating a wallpaper for her was really hard, considering the fact that there were only a few pictures of her with small resolution. And we only have one hour allotted time to create the wallpaper. So the result is a wallpaper that doesn’t have a picture of her, instead a bouquet of peach flowers and noobish typography. I do like the outcome of this one, and how it shows a vintage style.
P.S. Two of the designers here actually designed a wallpaper with a peach (fruit) in it.
