While still being able to use Wayne’s Computer and Wacom, I have been practicing on drawing, coloring and controlling the pen, specially on creating the line art. Seriously, it is very difficult and challenging to draw lines using the Wacom, since the work area (tablet) isn’t like paper which you may tilt to create a certain stroke. But even though I’m having tough times with the Wacom, I’m enjoying the whole experience nonetheless.

I took a picture from LaurenWK to be my basis to practice for the line art and shadows. I only have a few minutes per day to work on this, before our shift starts and this is how far I’ve got. My hand is still very wobbly, and I can’t draw lines properly yet. The shadows still look awkward, looks like they have been smudged too much, but I’ll fix it the next time I work on the artwork. Comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Keep it up. I’ll be waiting for this piece.

turn on the gridlines in PS and practice hitting the intersections that would be good practice handling the pen on a tablet.
