On the fourth of December 2009, I bought a new computer from the money I earned. It feels great to be able to buy something by working hard for it. My baby monster has been born. Although he (yes, my computer has a name) may not be the most powerful computer out there, I can say that I’m very, very proud of him.
Now, I do see everything while working on design mock-ups at home, compared to my old computer where the workarea in Photoshop is only about half the the size of the monitor. Yup, I’ve upgraded from a 1024×768 resolution to a whooping 1,920 x 1,080. I don’t get frustrated using the computer anymore, since from a Pentium 4, I’m now running a Quad-core with 4GB RAM.
Now, I can do some artsy stuff again with my computer, create wallpapers, artworks, free web layouts and hopefully to have a portfolio up soon.
P.S. My old computer was given fully to my brother. Now, he is also enjoying having that computer all for himself. He seems a bit shy on using mine, even though I gave him permission.

Btw, the scan of your drawing looks great.. that photo did not do enough justice to it before.
Hehe. Thanks, yeah… it really is a keeper. What’s your screen resolution by the way?
Yup, the drawing looked too faded, even with a shine from the “mac” flash. Haha.
1280×800, standard laptop size.
Ha, cute. I named my laptop Monster. =P It’s quite big for a laptop as well so most of the time it stays on my desk. The downside is the weight/heat it produces, although the amount of screen space is welcomed for designs/coding. Glad you’re happy and being productive!
Hehe… His name is actually not monster, but I call him that since he’s quite a monster. Haha. His name is actually in Japanese.
your first wallpaper should be about your baby muumuu.
Can’t wait to see it hahaha BTW where are the pics?
Haha. Got no time to create one for now. I have no camera, can’t take a picture of it… too bad.
