Scanned Moleskine Drawing

Random Androgynous Face Scanned

As promised, I scanned my drawing featured in my previous post. Hope this gives a better view on the details. Comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Random Androgynous Face

Last night I was struck by the mood to draw, instead of programming I couldn’t help myself but to draw. I took out my Moleskine Sketchbook, pencils, eraser and started out on my third entry (on the Moleskine).

I’m currently into drawing realistic people. And I do feel I was able to have a big leap in this piece. I do feel the hair and eyes don’t seem that realistic yet, but I can improve with more practice. For me, the person on the drawing looks like a mature woman, most people are saying that the face looks like a guy, also one person stated that the face looks androgynous. What do you think?

Sorry for the bad quality of the preview. I just took this photo using a computer’s camera. I’ll change the picture after getting hold of a scanner.

My Moleskine Sketchbook

I ordered a Moleskine Sketchbook Large from Avalon.ph. The sketchbook arrived today, just after two days after my online order. The service was fast I tell you! Just enough to satisfy me while in my anxious mode. They are also very concerned about the purchases made from them, someone from the site called me at home to check whether I received the package. My Grandma was the one who answered the phone, since they called during my sleeping time – Morning.

Now that the sketchbook is with me, I’m afraid to use it. Maybe I’m thinking like that due to the price of the sketchbook, but I’m certain that after the first drawing I’ll place on it, I’ll make it into a daily habit.
