Pretty things from the past

My Grandma and our helper cleaned and arranged some boxes at our (so called) stock room, then they found something from way back on 2003. What they found was some of my unfinished manga, so unfinished that I’ve even forgotten that I created those. Now, I find the stories quite intriguing, and would like to recreate it again, and hopefully finish it this time. I’m planning to buy a Moleskine for it, just to separate from the Moleskine I have now which is intended for random doodles.

It has been a long while since I have been creating manga, and I would like to go back. Maybe the absence of that practice made me more unimaginative and unproductive lately.

Bored to Death

I’m dying out of boredom due to limited computer use, since I can only use a computer at my workplace. Why? My computer’s video card is not functioning, so basically I don’t see anything when I turn on my PC. I am hesitant in buying a new video card “now” for my computer, considering I have a lot of money matters to attend to, one which is to buy a new computer. I may be able to buy a computer in the first week of September or in the last week of August because my money is still insufficient to buy a computer with my desired specifications.

What’s annoying is the only thing I can do at home is watch a DVD my mother bought, it’s the Korean Version of Hana Yori Dango which is “Boys Over Flowers”. Right now I am not anxious of drawing anything due to the fact that I can’t scan it afterward. I don’t want my drawings to be left at the shelf waiting for dust to pile up, I want it to be seen and commented by other people. I do have some unfinished sketches and doodles at home that I can’t post. I have a habit that I won’t show my work that has been left behind, the posting must be done on the spur of the moment. Sorry for this too personal post, maybe this can be called as withdrawal symptoms of limited computer use. The good part is, I will really be addicted to my upcoming computer due to the hardware specifications boosted, and the longing feeling of being unable to use the computer for a few weeks.

I’ve been tagged by Aelyn so I gotta list some crap about me.

  1. I used to want to be a doctor when I was a child, but gave up due to the number of years you have to study.
  2. I still want to study right now,  just on a better and tougher IT school for masteral or an art school.
  3. I started out drawing due to envy of a person I know who can draw well.
  4. I cry when someone criticizes my “best work” in a bad way.
  5. Before engaging in Badminton, I didn’t have a sport.
  6. I hate my computer now, because of the small screen resolution and its now become old and slow. I’ll buy a new one in a month or so.
  7. I’m from an Asian country, but I don’t like rice. I eat it just because it’s there on the table, I’d rather have wheat bread though.
  8. I am disgusted by the taste of mayonnaise and ketchup. I won’t be eating something using these ingredients.
  9. I easily fall for anime characters. Yes, they are just too handsome and too adorable.
  10. We often have canned goods/processed food served at home so now my tongue doesn’t accept them anymore.
